How One School Bus Fleet Improved Bus Behavior With Driver Training

One of the biggest daily struggles for many school bus drivers around the country is keeping unruly students in order and preventing bullying, fights, or other behavioral problems from occurring. Most of this is accomplished through training in how to diffuse problematic situations and disciplinary steps as approved through the school, but what if your entire fleet could decrease the number of write-ups and behavioral problems across the board?

According to a new report from School Bus Fleet Magazine, Raytown (Mo.) Quality Schools’ transportation team has accomplished just this through what it calls Positive Behavior Support.
