Seon Uses Annual Contest To Fight Bullying and Make a ‘Happy Bus’

Seon Contest

The school bus is one of the most common places bullying occurs in school, as students are placed in close quarters with limited observation and left to freely socialize. That is why Seon is using their second annual student coloring book contest in celebration of National Bullying Prevention Month to bring awareness to the the issue and teach students ways to avoid bullying on their daily bus ride.

“The Happy Bus: A Bully Free Zone” invites all school-aged children across North America to submit completed coloring sheets by October 31 for the chance to win one of three prize packages. The winner will be featured in next year’s competition. Last year’s winner, Jazmine of Wheatfield Elementary, located about 75 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, is highlighted in this year’s contest.

We had an amazing response to last year’s ‘Bullies Aren’t Cool’ coloring contest with over 1300 entries,” said Lori Jetha, marketing communications manager for Seon. “We heard so many inspiring stories, and had such a tremendous outpouring of support for the contest, that we decided to make it an annual event during the month of October.”

Any student across North America can enter. All it takes is to download and print the official coloring sheet and submit the best entries via email at marketing@seon.com.
